Beals Hubbard’s Litigation Practice Group represents its clients in the prosecution and defense of virtually every type of business and real estate dispute. It has successfully represented its clients in state and federal courts in Michigan, Florida and throughout the United States. The Firm recently succeeded in obtaining an $11.2 million award against General Motors on behalfof a supplier. The Firm has litigated issues involving business termination and dissolution, contract claims and shareholder disputes. The Firm has represented clients in connection with a wide variety of business torts including fraud, misrepresentation and interference with business relationships. Clients also often come to the Firm for help with employment related disputes including wrongful discharge and the enforcement and defense of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. The Firm regularly litigates cases involving construction, insurance and securities issues. The firm has extensive experience in complex securities cases, account representative and broker-dealer litigation as well as customer claims. Beals Hubbard has also represented its clients in connection with various real estate disputes including breach of purchase agreements, landlord-tenant matters and quiet title cases. While the Firm often tries cases to conclusion, it also is experienced in alternative dispute resolution devices such as arbitration, mediation and facilitation. |
